¡Hola! Or perhaps, Guten Tag!

Twenty-four German and Spanish honor society high school students traveled to the middle school on Mon., April 12th and Wed., April 14th, to deliver foreign language lessons to the seventh graders. After having taken the PSSA exams on each of these days, the seventh graders enjoyed two Spanish lessons on one day, and two German lessons on the other day. The honor society students taught them German and Spanish numbers, greetings, colors, body parts, food, animals, the alphabet and various poems and songs as a way of getting these middle school students excited about foreign language.

The students were extremely receptive and enthusiastic about learning new words. Later in the seventh grade hallway one could hear greetings such as ¡Hola! or Guten Tag! as students were excited about practicing what they had learned.
