"My! That is certainly a unique bird!"
That exclamation might very well be shared by any visitor to the fourth grade wing at Clay as they begin to look at some of the special drawings that are currently on display.
Fourth graders at Clay Elementary have been learning about 2 and 3 dimensional shapes in geometry. The students were recently asked to create a picture or scene using the various 2 dimensional polygons.
In addition to learning the names of the shapes and the angles, the students are also learning how to describe the similarities and differences of the polygons.
