This announcement is for all freshmen: Individual Freshmen Transition meetings with your counselor begin on Friday, October 18th. Meetings are 10 minutes each and will focus on; a discussion about 1st semester classes, a reflection on your transition to EHS, as well as a conversation about possible future career directions. Please go the counseling website to sign up for a time slot for your meeting. You can also get there by using the link for the signup page found on your Schoology newsfeed as well. Be sure to select a date and time that works best for your schedule – if you have a study hall, that would be the ideal period for this meeting.
Now is the perfect time to open your laptop and sign up for a time slot for your meeting – don’t delay!

College Bound Juniors and Seniors! Come to Financial Aid Night tonight at 6:30 PM in the EHS Auditorium. A representative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will be here to present information on all things financial aid.

Ag Trivia for the Day: Did you know that Lancaster County ranks 1st out of all PA counties and 15th out of 3,077 counties in the U.S. in value of agricultural products sold? The market value of these products is $1,474,954,000! That’s a lot of farm fresh produce, eggs, and milk! What’s more is that Lancaster ranks 1st in the nation for productivity of non-irrigated farmland!
Anyone interested in playing in the Dodge ball tournament is urged to pick up registration materials ASAP from Mr. Geyer in room 129 or at www.ephratamounts.com. Don’t “dodge” handing in your papers by procrastinating because entries are due on October 23rd. Remember, each team must raise at least $126 to enter, with a 3 game guarantee. All proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
