Attention current sophomores and juniors.

Have you ever yearned for the opportunity to manage your own stock portfolio?

Have you ever dreamed of trading on world markets?

Have you ever wondered what it must be like to work in canyons of Wall Street?

Well, next year Ephrata High School will initiate a new club called The Investment Club.

The Investment Club will be made up of Ephrata students who will manage a real $30,000 portfolio.

That’s right — $30,000.

The Ephrata Area Education Foundation has donated $30,000 to the new Investment Club.

Members of the club will research stocks, make buy and sell recommendations to the investment board, and vote on the purchase of shares.

An informational meeting will be held TODAY Wednesday, May 15th.  The meeting will be held in Mr. Hagen’s room (208) at 2:40.

Hope to see you there.
