The Educational Planning and Course Selection Guide provides information for students and parents to help prepare and plan the student’s secondary school program. It contains information concerning the educational opportunities offered at Ephrata High School which will enable students to plan programs of studies best suited to their interests, aptitudes, abilities, needs, and educational and career goals.
Students and parents are responsible for selecting courses that enable students to meet the requirements of future plans. Teachers and counselors are available to assist the student and parents in the selection process. Students will meet with school counselors to finalize their course selections.
Students will request courses by way of their PowerSchool Portal online account. Information sheets for each grade can be found below.

Course Selection Change Forms (By the end of the day on March 31)
- General course changes (not a teacher recommended course) – please have a parent email your counselor with the requested drop/add.
- EHS Core recommended course – Complete the EHS TEACHER RECOMMENDATION CHANGE FORM
- Grade 8 Core recommended course – Complete the 8th GRADE TEACHER RECOMMENDATION CHANGE FORM
