EHS Academic Testing

AP Testing: May 2nd-May 13th, 2022

  • AP exam schedule can be found in Schoology_Group_AP
  • EHS AP Exam Cancellation form can be picked up in the Counseling Office
  • Students should reference AP Test Day Reminders for information on how to come prepared on test day 
  • Online score reports are available beginning in July.  Students can access their scores online at collegeboard.org 

ASVAB:  Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery

  • The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test.  Your scores in four critical areas – Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension and Mathematics Knowledge count toward your Armed Forces Qualifying Test (AFQT) score.  The AFQT score determines whether you’re qualified to enlist in the U.S. military.
  • 2019-20 Exam Date: November 1, 2019

PSAT/NMSQT :

  • EHS will be administering the PSAT on Saturday October 16, 2021
    • Students should sign up in the High School Counseling Office
  • Cost for PSAT is FREE for Ephrata High School Students in grades 10 and 11.
  • PSAT Score Reports and test interpretation information will be sent home in late December

SAT Reasoning Test

  • October 2, 2021, March 12, 2022 and  May 7, 2022 at EHS.
  • Students should register for the SAT through CollegeBoard
  • Registration deadlines can be found on the Collegeboard website.
  • Beginning March 2016 the SAT Reasoning Test is redesigned. Check out this video to find out how to access score reports and to learn what will be on the new score reports.  

ACT

  • Designed to assess high school students’ general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work.  The tests cover four skill areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning.

Advanced Placement Tests

  • AP gives you the chance to try college-level work in high school, and to gain valuable skills and study habits for college.
  • Students’ who choose to take the AP exam at the end of their AP course could have the opportunity to earn college credit for their AP scores. Chek out this website for more information.
