Ephrata Area School District has been named among the 2024 Best Communities for Music Education in the United States, according to the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.
This is the 12th time Ephrata Area School District received the distinction. Of the more than 13,500 school districts in the United States, 975 districts received this distinction in 2024. The award program recognizes and celebrates outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
“Being recognized as a Best Community for Music Education again in 2024 is an incredible accomplishment! It's a testament to the dedication and passion of our students, staff, and music community. Our music department is committed to delivering exemplary music education experiences, and it's truly uplifting to see the hard work and commitment as a team recognized in this way,” Daniel Delaney, District Related Arts Department Supervisor.
Now in its 25th year, the NAMM Foundation recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who work together to ensure access to music learning for all students as part of the school curriculum.
