The 5th Grade Cornerstone kicked off with nearly 30 community leaders. Students learned about a variety of careers to inspire their “Mounts Run This Town” projects and potentially their future endeavors. Thanks to our amazing community partners for making this possible! Oh, and it was also "Hat Day!" 😀

Ephrata Intermediate School students are learning what it means to be an EASD Future Driven Leader. They look forward to collaborating and inspiring their classmates this school year.

As National School Lunch Week comes to an end, we are sending a loud SHOUT-OUT (and an "AHOY, MATEY") to our amazing food service staff! Thank you for all you do!

Tis the season for Corny Days! This annual event engages sixth-graders in a variety of science and math activities to learn ALL the ways that corn serves us. Thank you to the many community partners and the Ephrata Area Education Foundation for continuing to make this event so successful.

This morning, Officer Hirneisen is spending time with 6th graders to review a variety of topics, including bike safety, bus rules, and more! Most importantly, many meaningful connections are being established! #MountsPride

The August School Board Resolutions included student athlete Softball Coaches Association state honors, Dr. Laura Mandell earning a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, and School Board members’ recognition for many commendable years of service.

Congratulations to the following staff who recently celebrated Mountaineer Milestone Anniversaries with EASD.

The summer months are always busy with new staff interviews. We are especially thrilled with these two hires - https://youtu.be/_MVr6iuz-5E
