Good morning! We are experiencing districtwide phone difficulties this morning. We expect this issue to be resolved within the next hour or so. In the meantime, the best way to communicate with office staff in each school is to use the following email addresses:

Clay Elementary Schol – CESAttend@easdpa.org
Fulton Elementary School – FESAttend@easdpa.org
Highland Elementary School – HESAttend@easdpa.org
Ephrata Intermediate School – EISAttend@easdpa.org
Ephrata Middle School – EMSAttend@easdpa.org
Ephrata High School – EHSAttend@easdpa.org
Thank you!

Welcome back, Mountaineers!
We love to see Mountaineers' school spirit, especially when it provides inspiration for trick-or-treating on Halloween. #MountsPride
As National School Lunch Week comes to an end, we are sending a loud SHOUT-OUT (and an "AHOY, MATEY") to our amazing food service staff! Thank you for all you do!
What a beautiful fall day for the annual 4th grade field trip to the Ephrata Cloister. Students will use what learned today to reflect upon and answer the question: How has PA changed over time?
Students are showing their patriotism today, as well as honoring the brave first responders who keep our community safe on a daily basis. #MountsPride #PatriotDay
Check out all of the free early learning activities we have coming up for our youngest Mountaineers and their families.
The August School Board Resolutions included student athlete Softball Coaches Association state honors, Dr. Laura Mandell earning a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, and School Board members’ recognition for many commendable years of service.
It’s been great seeing so many families this morning joining in the First Day of School festivities!
Our youngest Mountaineers have arrived and are ready to kick off a great school year!
Congratulations to the following staff who recently celebrated Mountaineer Milestone Anniversaries with EASD.
The summer months are always busy with new staff interviews. We are especially thrilled with these two hires - https://youtu.be/_MVr6iuz-5E

A graduation highlight every year is the nostalgic elementary walk when grads are energetically congratulated by younger Mountaineers and special moments with past teachers are revisited.
We hosted our first elementary Conquer the Cube Challenge this school year with a 2x2 and 3x3 division. Both require students to be adept at utilizing an algorithm to yield a solved cube. It takes practice and dedication to conquer a task like this considering you only have about a 1 in 3,000,000 chance at solving a 2x2 cube randomly and a 1 in 43,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance at solving a 3x3 cube randomly. These students finished on top and showed #EASDLifeReady critical thinking, problem solving, grit, resilience, and a growth mindset throughout their learning journey!
Congrats to the top finishers of our Math 24 challenge! Math 24 is a critical thinking game where students compete to quickly determine how four numbers can be utilized to yield the answer of 24. They can add, subtract, multiply, and divide to get the answer. PLUS! Thank you to Reagan, an Akron Elementary School fourth-grader, who made these awesome medals for the winners! Well done, Mountaineers!
