If your child is turning 4 by September 1, 2023, your child is invited to attend the Mighty Mounts Academy!
Please read the following information carefully:
WHAT: Mighty Mounts Academy Registration for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. This is to register your child for the Mighty Mounts Academy the year prior to them entering kindergarten.
WHEN: The Academy is held during the school year for 10 weeks in the fall and 10 weeks in the spring. Your child would attend both the fall and spring session. It is held one day each week for 2 hours. Your child would be placed in either the Tuesday OR Thursday class.
Weekly on Tuesdays
October 3 – December 12 and February 27 – May 7
(excluding November 21 and March 26)
OR
Weekly on Thursdays
October 5 – December 14 and February 29 – May 9
(excluding November 23 and March 28)
WHERE: The Academy is held at Clay Elementary School. Transportation is not provided.
WHO: To qualify for the Academy, your child must be entering kindergarten in the fall 2024 school year. This means that they will turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024. Also, your child may not be involved in any other preschool or daycare program. The Academy is an opportunity for us to offer a classroom setting to children who will not have that experience before going to kindergarten.
- Each week we will focus on routines (circle time, snack time, story), kindergarten readiness skills, and give your child social interaction with other children their age while introducing them to a classroom setting.
- Space is limited for this program. We will use a first come, first served method. It is important for you to respond quickly if you are interested. Once you confirm your interest, If you child meets the above qualifications, we will add you to our list of tentative families. You will receive a follow up email prior to the start of the school year to confirm whether or not your child has been placed in a class.
