The following Ephrata High School students have been awarded medals and special recognition for outstanding performance on the 2025 National German Exam.
American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) National German Exam Scholarship
EHS junior Breelyn Beyer earned the prestigious opportunity to travel to Germany this summer through the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) National German Exam Scholarship program. This competitive scholarship offers a three-week educational and cultural immersion experience for high-achieving students of German. Breelyn qualified by scoring in the 90th percentile or higher on the National German Exam and meeting a range of eligibility criteria, including a comprehensive interview conducted solely in German.
During the trip, students attend classes at a local academic high school, live with host families, and participate in cultural excursions. The program fosters language learning and cross-cultural understanding through homestays, classroom integration, and supervised field trips.
